• Working as software engineer at CGI, on a project using a React frontend and Java backend.

Outside Work

• Writing more about the things I enjoy, and blogging to improve my lackluster writing skills.
• Listening to music, usually metal but can find enjoyment in most things. Also constsintly failing to keep up with new releases.
• Ideating, planning and prototyping video games…
  • An Interactive Fiction game, and a roguelike.
  • Exploring Godot, Ink, and C++ to facilitate this.
• Reading, mainly history and SF books. (Currently: Dune by Frank Herbert)
• Learning the drums again, after years of having no space for them, using an electronic drum kit.
  • Currently practicing by myself, and playing lots of Clone Hero.
• Playing Strategy/Roguelike games, watching YouTube and reading HN rather than doing any of the above, and complaining about having no time to do any of the above.
